Have you ever wondered what wood tastes like?
For 6 years now, we have been striving to make as many people as possible understand what oak wood brings to wines, spirits and now macaroons!
We therefore offer unusual tastings to understand what specialists call tertiary aromas in wine. In other words, how the wood will bring these aromas of vanilla, coconut, mocha or clove...
Dive into the world of wood with us, during a workshop in Bordeaux or with your company throughout France.
And come and taste some wood!
-
Rather red wine?
Light, fruity or gourmet, you are free to choose the grape variety that you like... However, we recommend choosing it as little woody as possible in order to make the most of the experience.
-
Rather Spirits?
Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Whiskey, …? Choose the spirit you like and you will discover in a friendly and innovative way the different aromatic notes brought by oak.
-
Rather white wine?
You are free to choose your favorite white wine: dry or sweet… Each grape variety reacts differently. The wooden sticks will bring it new interesting olfactory notes.
THE PRINCIPLE
We taste the same wine 6 times for 6 different experiences!
Our bottles are filled with the wine or spirit of your choice: depending on the experience you wish to have or your preferences.
We work with winegrowers from the southwest. Our wine is young and has not had any addition of wood other than by the stick that we leave to infuse.
The reference of the wooden stick you have inside is indicated on the bottle, as well as its tasting order for the wine experience.
The wooden sticks are integrated into 5 bottles of the box, the sixth bottle without stick serves as a witness to the taste experience identified by the letter C. Each stick represents a different level of heating thus bringing different taste notes.
We offer you:
- Unheated French Oak FU
- French Oak Medium Toast FM
- French Oak Medium Heat Plus FP
- French Oak High Heat FH
- American Oak in Medium Heat AM
THE TASTING

You will be surprised! ❶ First present the unwooded wine (C). Taste and analyze it: color, nose, mouth. Describe the expression of the fruit, its freshness, its possible acidity, its length in the mouth, its complexity (or its simplicity...) Do not hesitate to taste this unwooded wine again during the tasting of the following wines, to realize to what extent the (...)
AROMATIC NOTES
